Florida, Jun 11.- The Cuban Telecommunications Company (ETECSA) of the municipality of Florida adopted measures to keep most of the services it provides to the population active and avoid damage to material resources, in the midst of the current weather situation that lives in the territory of Camagüey.
However, downed poles were reported in the Rolando Valdivia Popular Council, although there were no effects on the fixed telephony service, and since infrastructure maintenance was planned for this month in that area, these actions will be accelerated, according to with the information offered by Alexis Rabí director of the entity.
The manager explained that sanitation and cleaning of roofs and sewers were carried out previously and the pruning of trees in some areas of the city is planned with the Communal entity, to avoid that during the current hurricane season the fall of these could affect the communications infrastructure.
