Resources will be distributed to Florida families in vulnerable situations

Florida, April 10.- Almost 90 Florida families in vulnerable situations will benefit during the current month of April with the delivery of resources through the municipality’s Prevention, Assistance and Social Care System, under the protection of the Council of Ministers agreement approved in 2021.

The goods to be distributed this time by the Social Work Unit of the territory include mattresses, beds and household items for cooking food, and will be intended for mothers with three or more children, the elderly alone, people with disabilities, cancer patients and victims of hurricanes, among others.

According to the information offered by the Florida Directorate of Labor and Social Security, the distribution of these resources will reach the 11 People’s Councils, special constituencies and neighborhoods in transformation of the municipality.

The evaluation of the cases and the delivery of material and economic aid to families and people with social disadvantages is carried out in a collegiate manner, through the Prevention groups, in coordination with the rest of the governing bodies of the task and under the supervision of good of the Municipal Administration Council.
