Florida, Mar 24.- The group of workers and older adults linked to the Casa de Abuelos 1º de Octubre, in the municipality of Florida, ratified the commitment to support with their vote the parliamentary elections scheduled for this Sunday, March 26.

Matilde Marshall Felipe, retired from the Commerce sector and beneficiary of the services provided by the aforementioned institution, highlighted the importance of going to the polls to show, once again, the unity of the people and the will to defend the social and human conquests of the revolution.

The septuagenarian Cándido Omelio Caballero Morín, a graduate of the Ministry of the Interior, pointed out that he will mark his ballot in the circle for all the candidates for deputies, because those proposed are also people from the neighborhoods, they know the deficiencies that affect us and lead the battles to continue forward, without giving up.

Florida´s nursing house is registered among the institutions of the Public Health sector that provide protection services, comprehensive care, food and healthy recreation to the so-called elderly, with the support of the Assistance and Social Security systems of the Ministry of Labor.

According to the seniors themselves paid to the Grandparents’ House in the territory, the care received there, the respect for their human condition and the continuity of this and other levels of inclusion for the elderly, constitute sufficient reasons to march very early until the polling stations on Sunday, March 26, and say yes for the Homeland and for all those nominated as deputies to the National Assembly of People’s Power.
