Florida, Mar 8.- The peasant women of Florida welcome International Women’s Day with the pride and commitment to be present, as irreplaceable protagonists, in the battle for the agricultural and socioeconomic development of the municipality and the country.
With more than 700 women incorporated into its ranks, the National Association of Small Farmers (ANAP) of the territory offers more opportunities for participation for them every day, recognizes their contribution and adds them to relevant tasks of the political and administrative leadership of the organization itself. .
Proof of this is constituted by the six presidents of cooperatives elected in different agrarian collectives in Florida, together with the 27 in charge of leading the same number of grassroots organizations of the ANAP, without forgetting the rest of the peasant women who ensure productive missions and community plans. with enthusiasm, tenderness and a sense of belonging. By sending the congratulations to each one of them, regarding the celebration of International Women’s Day this March 8, the ANAP Municipal Bureau ratified the commitment to continue working for the constant advancement of this essential force for vitality and the social and productive tasks of the sector.
