Florida, Oct 6.- In the municipality of Florida, a schedule of community assemblies will be held from October 21 to November 17 for the nomination of candidates for constituency delegates, as part of a new People’s Power election process throughout Cuba.
At the beginning of last month, the leadership of the Cuban Council of State made public the call for the election of the delegates to the Municipal Assemblies on November 27, and around this the electoral authorities of the 82 Floridian constituencies continue their organizational work after also guaranteeing in this territory the development of the recent popular referendum.
Currently, the management and members of the Municipal Electoral Council, together with the members of the constituency commissions, are working on the identification of community meeting areas and the planning of the new schedule of assemblies for the nomination of candidates in the neighborhood. to delegates, a process prior to the elections at the end of November.
