Preparation, humanism and consecration guarantee vital support transfers in Florida

Florida, Sep 16.- With more than 4,500 life support transfer actions carried out so far this year, the workers of the Regionalized Emergency and Medical Emergency System (SIUM) of the municipality of Florida maintain their daily performance despite the impact of the world economic crisis and the aggressive economic, commercial and financial blockade imposed by the White House against Cuba.

With a real workforce of 47 workers, including drivers, integral paramedics, Nursing graduates, fleet management technicians and the rest of the administrative and support staff, the aforementioned group belonging to the local Public Health system defends, above all, quality of services and commitment to the people in each of its activities.

This is demonstrated by most of the indicators of response to serious cases and others of less danger in the geography of the territories of Esmeralda, Carlos Manuel de Céspedes and Florida, in the face of a demand that exceeded seven thousand calls for help until the closure of the last August.

The Florida Regional Emergency and Medical Emergency system prioritizes here the most immediate assistance to tracer diseases such as acute myocardial infarction, those related to the maternal and child program, serious trauma, COVID-19 and dengue, among others that They demand high technical-professional training from the group, humanism without limits and a sense of belonging and consecration to overcome difficulties.
