Florida, Aug 24.- With the presentation of child artists who are fond of music and dance, the municipal act for the 62nd anniversary of the Federation of Cuban Women (FMC) was held at the Luis Casas Romero House of Culture in Florida.
As part of the celebration, 20 Floridian women signed the FMC Book of Honor with the commitment to maintain the equal rights and opportunities achieved to date.
During the meeting, the different blocks and delegations highlighted in the organization’s work, in the vaccination process and in the confrontation with COVID-19 were recognized.
At the conclusion of the municipal Act for the 62nd anniversary of the Federation of Cuban Women, Danay Cuello, a member of the FMC secretariat in Florida, on behalf of the congratulated women, reiterated the firm conviction of women to achieve a greater role in their workplaces and in the community.
