Advances in Florida booster vaccination with a dose of Soberana Plus

Florida, Aug 19.- Starting this Monday, August 15, the vaccination campaign began in the municipality of Florida with a booster dose of Soberana Plus for children between two and 11 years of age, with the intention of preventing contagion with COVID-19 in these infants.

The Master of Science Niurka Turiño Fernández, head of the primary education level in the municipal Education sector, reported that on the first day of this process, 778 infants were immunized in the eight educational centers selected in the urban area of ​​the territory to carry out the health intervention. .

The official also explained that on Tuesday the minors residing in the Conquista and Las Parras popular councils received the vaccine, on August 17 and 18 the immunization will take place in La Vallita and in the rural community Rodolfo Ramírez Esquivel, and on Friday 19 will develop in Playa Florida and San Antonio.

A total of 5,441 children between the ages of two and 11 are scheduled to be vaccinated with the booster dose of the anti-Covid-19 vaccine as part of the campaign that began this Monday the 15th in the municipality of Florida and will run until the 25th. August, with a view to the restart of the school year.
