Photographic exhibition dedicated to Camilo and Che opens at Florida Polytechnic

Florida, October 13 – On the ideological day honoring the memory of two leading figures of the Cuban Revolution, the Sabino Pupo Milián Agricultural Polytechnic Institute inaugurated a photography exhibition dedicated to the life and legacy of Commanders Ernesto Che Guevara and Camilo Cienfuegos.

In parallel with the exhibition, the school’s library organized a special promotion of books and serial publications that delve into the biographies and thought of the Heroic Guerrilla and Lord of the Vanguard, with the aim of encouraging research and reading among students.

The commemoration is also part of the national tribute paid to Commander Ernesto Guevara every October 8th. This year marks the 58th anniversary of his death in combat in Bolivia, a date observed in Cuba with profound respect and a sense of continuity in his work.

In this way, the activities carried out at the Sabino Pupo Milián Polytechnic Institute epitomize the ongoing efforts of the Cuban educational system to instill in its youth a knowledge of history and the revolutionary ideals of two pillars of the Revolution, sources of inspiration and guidance for present and future struggles.
