Florida Home for children without family protection receives donations (+Post)

Florida, 9 Oct.- In an act of community solidarity, the Home for Children without family protection in Florida received a donation from the Empresa Municipal de Comercio in a contribution that reflects the social commitment of the entity and the joint effort of the merchants operating in premises leased by this institution, who joined the initiative.

The donation consisted of a variety of food products, such as jams and oil, which will be very useful to satisfy the nutritional needs of children in the institution.

The delivery is part of a regular support program developed by tenants of premises belonging to the Florida Trading Company, who contribute voluntarily to the welfare of minors in this educational institution.

Barbara Pérez Peña, Director of Commerce, Pablo Tarajano Delgado, Commercial and Services Director, and Alexis Fenelo Peláez, Deputy Governor of the Municipal Administration Council, who recognized the human value of this initiative and its positive impact on the community.

Santiago Cedré, director of the Home for Minors without parental care, expressed his gratitude on behalf of all workers and especially the children who live in the center, and stressed the importance of these collaborations, Strengthen ties with the community and provide critical support for their work.

With this action, the Empresa Municipal de Comercio and the leased premises of its establishments reaffirm their intention to maintain a partnership in solidarity with the Home for Minors and to give continuity to this type of collaboration and establish a permanent children and adolescents living together in this institution.
