Florida, September 29.- The José Martí Pioneers Organization will hold its Pioneer elections on September 29th, the most important student process for the internal life of the organization, which represents Cuban children and adolescents in grades four through nine.
The election process will take place in primary, special, and junior high schools to elect leaders at the group and collective levels.
In the case of primary and special schools, the Pioneers will elect their representatives before the school administration through direct and public voting, and in junior high schools, elections will be held by direct and secret ballot.
The Manuel Fajardo Elementary School and the Agustín Farabundo Martí Junior High School were selected as local references for this democratic exercise, although the election process is held simultaneously in all schools and constitutes a day of celebration and jubilation for students.
The electoral process taking place this September 29 in Florida is an event of transcendental importance that pays tribute to the memory of the pioneer martyr Paquito González Cueto.
