Florida, July 7. – The Executive Branch of the Government in the municipality of Florida maintains strict monitoring of the performance of the Family Care System (SAF), under the concept that defines it as a program of high human sensitivity, established to provide support to individuals and groups economically disadvantaged compared to the rest of Cuban society in the current situation.
The Municipal Administration Council systematically demands information on the weaknesses, shortcomings, and results of the work in such units, located in the various People’s Councils throughout the territory, and at the same time promotes the implementation of periodic inspections and data on the opinions and satisfaction of the diners subscribed to the SAF dining halls.
Aspects such as the variety of food offerings, resource control, organization and cleanliness of premises, quality of service, updated governing documents, transparency in billing rates, and ties to agricultural suppliers are included in the Florida government’s systematic oversight agenda for the Family Care System.
Although this type of responsibility remains in the hands of the Municipal Commerce and Gastronomy Company, other actors and agencies, such as the Department of Labor and Social Security, and the Sports, Health, and Culture departments, make commitments related to healthy recreation and protecting the quality of life of these groups under the umbrella of family soup kitchens in Florida.
