Net Sales Plan, an economic challenge in the municipality of Florida.

Florida, June 13 – More than 17 million pesos were not received in the municipality of Florida due to the non-compliance with the Net Sales Plan at the end of the first quarter of this year, a phenomenon marked by the incidence of 11 entities, including the four companies of the territory and seven basic business units.

Among the causes and conditions for such behavior, the following are mentioned: shortages in the case of the Pharmacy Unit; failure to take advantage of the installed capacities for obtaining derivatives in the sugar system; shortages of parts and pieces in agricultural machinery and low yields in agricultural and sugarcane production.

The forecast of Net Sales in the municipality of Florida during the first three months of this year was also weakened due to the lack of pipes and accessories for the rehabilitation of hydraulic networks; the non-fulfillment of agreements and demands of the Retail Trade by suppliers and the delay in the delivery of the Standard Family Basket and released products, together with the impact of the low availability of fuel in the Transportation, Sugar, Agricultural and Construction sectors.

The tightening of the imperialist blockade against the Cuban people and its consequences, together with the low availability of foreign currency to acquire resources and raw materials abroad, indicate the permanence of the aforementioned scenario in the short and medium term.

Consequently, it is up to the companies, grassroots entities, managers and collectives that fail to comply with the plans for the sale of goods and merchandise to seek alternatives, generate productive projects, promote mutually beneficial associations, take advantage of internal strengths and apply science and innovation in order to achieve the objectives set for 2025.
