Florida, June 7 – Drawing attention to the importance of preserving, preparing and consuming food in good condition is the main objective of the World Food Safety Day, which is remembered in the educational sector of Florida with a day that was extended throughout this week in educational institutions with actions aimed at prevention, detection and risk management through food safety.
The actions are focused on the training of administrators and supply handlers, fundamental actors of the school feeding program.
The students, for their part, participated in drawing contests, lectures and exhibitions, and school food processors joined the celebration with local proposals and work commitments.
Under the slogan “Food Safety: Science in Action”, World Food Safety Day is being celebrated on June 7 to raise awareness of the issue and inspire measures to help ensure food safety, which is essential for people’s health and well-being.
