Florida, May 23 – The Florida Hotel was the venue chosen for the defense of the Master’s Degree in Integral Care of Oncology Patients by nine medical science professionals from the territory and from the municipalities of Esmeralda and Carlos Manuel de Céspedes.
For the first time, the Camagüey Public Health system developed an action of this magnitude outside the provincial capital city, and it did it with the purpose of promoting and recognizing the will to raise the scientific level of the workers of the sector in all the instances and work spaces.
Both the members of the Master’s Court and the recent graduates thanked the support of the Teaching Coordinator, Master of Science and Doctor in Pediatrics Ana Luisa Sáez Brown, from the Leopoldo Rey Sampayo Pediatric Hospital; the specialists from the Oncology Hospital and the Medical University of Camagüey; the local government and the Municipal Health Directorate for the support offered to the event.
The defense of the Master’s Degree in Oncology Patient Care by nine members of the army of white coats from the municipalities of Esmeralda, Carlos Manuel de Céspedes and Florida was also a blow to the face of those who seek to minimize the prestige of Cuban medicine and destroy the historical and humanist work of the Revolution in this social task.
