Florida, May 16 – The comprehensive control visit of the Provincial Bureau of the Party in Camagüey to the municipality of Florida, headed by its first secretary, Walter Simón Noris, included a meeting with representatives of more than 50 productive bases of agriculture and Azcuba, together with heads of enterprises, agencies and entities that maintain working relations with both sectors.
During the exchange, they discussed, among others, issues related to the sowing, contracting, collection and commercialization of food; the development and results of livestock; the control of the processes; the role of the Party in each place; the exemplarity and leadership of the cadres and directing boards; the labor and technologic discipline, and the fulfillment of the plans and commitments of 2025.
In the midst of his reflections with those summoned to the meeting, Simón Noris called to multiply the control in defense of the demands of the economy, to sustain the truth as a motto in the analyses and to promote the flags of victory, doing much more in each place with the available resources.
Walter Simón also visited the productive poles of the advanced Floridian farmers Felipe Alcántara Quintas and Jorge Hernández Mesa, which are steadily advancing in the mission of promoting large-scale planting of various crops such as yucca, plantain and sweet potato, among others.
Accompanied by the highest authorities of the municipality, the first secretary of the Party in the province of Camagüey also visited the Sorbitol Derivatives Base Business Unit, where he appreciated the efforts of this collective in the fulfillment of tasks of relevance for the economic and social life of the country.
