Florida, May 12 – Promoting, studying and learning about the life and work of José Martí was the main objective of the Youth Seminar of Martí Studies held this Friday at the Luis Casas Romero Cultural Center in the city of Florida.
With the presence of Master of Science Eleodoro Carvajal García, president of the José Martí Cultural Society in the territory, this 49th edition of the event was attended by students from all educational levels along with teachers, professors, methodologists and directors of the General Directorate of Education.
Martí in the educational work; in the education in values through the stories of the Golden Age; Martí and nature; José Martí and his thoughts on the independence of Cuba and the world, were among the works discussed in the conclave by students who participated in this event.
A representation of students from Florida will participate in the provincial event of “Estudios Martianos” to be held this month in the city of Agramontina.
