Florida cooperative seeks to approach one million in milk production

Florida, May 9 – The group of la Cooperativa de Créditos y Servicios (CCS) Alberto Becerra Rosado, from the municipality of Florida, reiterated its commitment to close 2025 with more than half a million liters of milk delivered to the industry, together with the fulfillment of the rest of the productive tasks of the entity.

Such conviction is based on the current results of his peasant collective, where there is a remarkable overcompliance in the delivery of the dairy product, the sale of almost six tons of meat to the Camagüey company, in addition to the progress in the sowing of various crops and the preparation of land in different farms of the entity.

Even though negative factors such as the drought, the lack of fuel and the delay in the payment of milk to the cowboys by the Combinado Lácteo have an impact there, the cattle ranchers and the rest of the small farmers of the Alberto Becerra CCS are not giving up and are going for better results in the milk harvest and in the response to the commitments of planting food in the spring campaign.

Misael Hernández Gutiérrez, president of the Board of Directors of the Alberto Becerra cooperative, highlighted the incorporation of his collective to the millionaire movement in the dairy industry, an aspiration that they seek to achieve in the coming years by strengthening the cattle mass and the daily control of milking, together with the reinforcement of the political work and the productive awareness of the associates.
