Florida, April 2 – The municipal secretariat of the Central de Trabajadores de Cuba (CTC) in the municipality of Florida is preparing to celebrate May 1st, World Proletariat Day.
In each of the union sections of the locality, the reading of the call for the workers’ celebration is being carried out, as well as cleaning and beautification of the surroundings, and the recognition of the most outstanding men and women in their respective jobs.
Exci Yaima Galván Pérez, general secretary of the Municipal Committee of the CTC in Florida, informed that, as planned, more than 10 thousand workers are expected to participate in the parade with their initiatives, demonstrating their commitment to the Cuban Revolution.
Presided by the slogan “ Por Cuba Juntos Creamos” (“For Cuba Together We Create”), the affiliates of the different unions in the municipality of Florida are preparing to develop the parade for May 1st, International Workers’ Day.
