Florida, April 2 – The municipality of Florida is preparing for the Regional Comparative and Explanatory Exercise (ERCE 2025) organized by the Latin American Laboratory for the Evaluation of the Quality of Education of UNESCO’s Regional Bureau of Education for Latin America and the Caribbean.
The exercise will measure the learning level of third and sixth grade students in skills such as writing, text comprehension, mathematical calculation and knowledge of Natural Sciences, as well as the socio-emotional development of students and the support of families to the teaching process.
According to the information provided by Niurka Turiño, head of the primary education level in the General Directorate of Education, the exercise will be carried out with the students of the Tania la Guerrillera school and the Heriberto Martin Guzman mixed center, in La Vallita; according to the official, the verification will also include a survey to teachers and students’ families.
Schoolchildren, teachers and directors of the educational sector in Florida are intensifying during these weeks the preparation activities in view of the fifth Regional Comparative and Explanatory Exercise (ERCE 2025) to be carried out in May of this year.
