Florida, Feb. 16. Workers of Manuel Piti Fajardo Municipal Hospital in the municipality of Florida held an information and analysis meeting on the Budget and Economic Plan for 2025, a strategic meeting that promotes collective commitment to the tasks planned for the current calendar.
The payment of salaries, the acquisition of materials and raw materials, food, fuel and basic resources for patient care will be supported there by the 66 million pesos approved by the health sector to cover the expenses of the most important medical institution in the territory.
Among the proposals of the workers present at the analysis of the Budget and Economic Plan of the Municipal Hospital of Florida, the demands for improvements to the salary of auxiliary staff, achieving stability in the operation of the bicycle rack and completing the implementation of the workers’ canteen within the unit stood out.
According to information provided by Dr. Alberto Abascal Santana, the highest representative of the Board of Directors of the Florida hospital, since January there has also been progress in corrective maintenance and painting missions in different areas of this clinical, surgical, maternity and teaching facility.
In the midst of the renewed intensification of the cruel economic, commercial and financial blockade imposed by the United States government against the Cuban people, the commitment of the workers of the General Hospital of Florida is to maintain compliance with its social purpose, along with the tracer indicators, which translates into quality of medical care with the support of the Party and the union organizations.
