Entities and farmers are highlighted for their compliance in the delivery of honey bee (+Photo)

Florida, Jan. 23 – The leading farmer Gelania Cabrera Morales, from la Cooperativa de Crédito y Servicios (CCS) Romárico Cordero in the municipality of Florida, headed the list of beekeepers in the territory who achieved favorable results in their order at the end of 2024.

Gelania managed to collect more than five tons of honey, out of a commitment of 4.5, and also exceeded the figure agreed for the sale of wax to the Camagüey Apiculture Enterprise.

The recognition made public through the Agriculture Group in social networks specifies that next to her also stood out the breeder Lazaro Avila Diaz, and the apiaries of the Grain Company Ruta Invasora and the Cooperative of Agricultural Production Abel Santamaria Cuadrado, all with more than 90 percent compliance with the plans of honey delivery to the annual balance closed last December.

This group of vanguards was escorted by another group of beekeepers from the municipalities of Florida and Carlos Manuel de Céspedes with the category of outstanding, including Ariel Oquendo, Rebeca Soler, Yadián Reyes and Alberto Tomey.
