Florida, Jan. 16 – The 150 delegates of the peasant sector of Florida will meet this Saturday, January 18, in the municipal assembly of balance of the XIII Congress of the National Association of Small Farmers (ANAP), to discuss issues of high importance of the political-productive, economic and social life within the organization.
The El Paraíso unit, belonging to the Grain Company Ruta Invasora, will host the meeting, which will also be attended by representatives of the organizations and entities that maintain contractual and working relations with the farmers of the territory.
According to sources of the provincial direction of ANAP and its counterparts in this municipality, the Congress of the Floridian peasants should not ignore specific issues related to the fulfillment of the collection of milk and meat, the battle against crime, the contracting of food and the internal life as the main tasks of this agricultural and livestock force.
The farmers selected to participate in the assembly of the XIII ANAP Congress in Florida will also be in charge of electing the members of the new Municipal Committee of the association and its Executive Bureau, as well as the delegates and candidates who will represent them in the provincial and national meetings.
