Florida, Dec. 24 – The farmer cooperatives Abel Santamaría Cuadrado, Alberto Becerra Rosado and Saturnino Aneiro Abella, from the municipality of Florida, received the recognition of the people and the authorities of the territory during the celebration of the municipal in salute to the 66th anniversary of the triumph of the Revolution.
The Cooperative of Agricultural Production Abel Santamaría stood out for the perseverance of its collective throughout 2024 in the defense of the sugar cane harvest and the tribute to the industry, together with the fulfillment of other productive, social and political tasks, while the Alberto Becerra Rosado stands out for the results in the collection of milk and other items, as well as in the social and community attention to the population of its surroundings.
The Saturnino Aneiro Credit and Service Cooperative (CCS) is included among those with the best results in the agricultural sector of Florida, especially in the field of various crops, livestock and the presence in fairs and popular marketing events.
The recognition of the Communist Party and the Government of the municipality to the referred productive units of the farmer sector constitutes an encouragement for the men and women in charge of raising animals, milking, sowing and harvesting food for the people, and a new commitment on the 66th anniversary of the triumph of the Revolution.
