Florida, Dec. 5.- In the municipality of Florida, rigorous and thorough control actions are needed during the current National Exercise to prevent and confront crime, corruption and illegalities, in order to honor the principles of equity and social justice of the Cuban Revolution and guarantee the people greater security and citizen well-being.
It is urgent to counteract the bad practices of hoarding and trafficking in the distribution and sale of basic necessities, and the high prices in the marketing of food, which complicates the lives of the majority of workers, whose salaries are devalued by inflation and financial speculation, thriving phenomena in this territory.
In terms of urban planning and citizen discipline, it is also necessary that state inspection and police action be more energetic and systematic in the face of disrespect for traffic laws, noncompliance with the rules of social coexistence and vandalism against heritage works or infrastructure services of the municipality.
Given the current economic situation, it is necessary to strengthen the demands on the different actors to comply with their social and administrative commitments, and with what is established in the process of banking, in order to improve financial order, increase income to the local budget and reduce dependence on cash, to avoid inconveniences to workers who receive their salary in magnetic cards.
