Florida, Nov. 4 – The celebration of the 55th anniversary of the resumption of radio transmissions in Florida would not be complete without mentioning Juan Antonio Ripoll Castillo and Juan Manuel Picabea Niebla, two Floridians already deceased, who in their younger years were protagonists of the cultural event that was heard from Las Tunas to part of the current province of Sancti Spíritus, where the signal of Radio Trópico was received with clarity.
