Florida, Oct. 23.- To date, more than two thousand cooperative members of the peasant sector of the municipality of Florida have participated in the base sessions of the XIII Congress of the National Association of Small Farmers (ANAP), a call where the main demand is to remain strengthened, united and productive in the face of the current socioeconomic reality of the country.
According to the presidency of the Municipal Bureau of ANAP, only six of the 29 balance assemblies foreseen in the schedule to be completed before the end of October are still to be held.
According to the same source, among the most reiterated topics in the meetings of the process of balance of the peasant meeting held in Florida, stand out the support to the fulfillment of the productive commitments, the battle against crime, the concerns referred to the banking system, and requests for alternatives for the purchase of fuels.
From the exchanges carried out, 148 rural men and women were selected as delegates to the municipal assembly and 57 pre-candidates to the final sessions of the XIII ANAP Congress.
