Florida, Sep. 30 – The combative preparation for the defense of the territorial integrity and sovereignty of the Homeland can never be neglected in a country like Cuba, permanently besieged by the hegemonic policy of U.S. imperialism, the greatest arms power of our Planet Earth.
This was reflected in Florida this Saturday in a day of preparation for the defense of the leadership and command bodies of the municipality, in view of the priority of coordinating the work of organization and mobilization of the different forces under the principle of the armed struggle of all the people to face possible military aggressions and crisis situations.
Special emphasis is placed during this stage on the actions of combative and civic preparation necessary to confront the methods of unconventional warfare of the enemies of the Cuban Revolution, and to ensure in each zone and territory the greatest possible response capacity in order to resist the old imperial strategy of systematic attrition of the Cuban people through the policy of blockade and economic asphyxiation.
In this sense, in addition to patriotic sentiment, social commitment and state responsibility, it is required in each defense zone to achieve the effective functioning of the leadership and command structures, as well as creativity and commitment to achieve the greatest possible number of actions that contribute to the priority of counteracting all types of aggression against the territorial integrity and sovereignty of the Homeland.
