Florida, Sep. 21 – Special attention and follow-up is provided by the municipal authorities to the 10 Family Assistance Systems (SAF) existing in Florida, with the purpose of ensuring that the quality of the food offered there is optimal.
Poor food preparation, lack of management by those responsible for the task and diversion of resources, are negative aspects detected in some of these soup kitchens where the elderly, pregnant women and vulnerable people are fed.
Although the situation is not the same in all the Family Assistance Systems, there is dissatisfaction on the part of those assisted, due to the lack of commitment on the part of those whose duty it is to materialize this work of the Cuban Revolution.
Party and government authorities in the territory closely follow the food provided by the Family Assistance Systems to vulnerable people.
