Floridian beekeepers achieve Vanguard status for their productive contributions (+Photo)

Florida, Aug. 29 – Nine beekeepers belonging to the Florida brigade reached the category of Vanguards for their productive contributions in the month of July, while two others were highlighted in the same period.

Gelania Tomasa Cabrera Morales, Lázaro Ávila Díaz, Ariel Oquendo Baryolo, Dagoberto Rosales Noy, Omar Abrantes González, Sergio Agüero Rosales, Yadian Reyes Cervantes and Alberto Tomey Díaz, together with the Abel Santamaría Agricultural Production Cooperative and the Ruta Invasora Agroindustrial Complex, make up the group of the most outstanding of the seventh month of the year in the collection of honey, wax and propolis for Camagüey Beekeeping Enterprise.

In second place, they were closely followed by beekeepers Arián Oquendo Baryolo and Rebeca Soler Oliva.

The Florida Beekeeping brigade concluded the seventh month of the year with the contribution of 3.5 tons of honey, six kilograms of wax and five kilograms of propolis, which meant the over-fulfillment of the period’s plans and an important endorsement of the favorable results accumulated for the current calendar.
