Floridian authorities warn about the growing presence of minors in night activities

Florida, 24 Jul.- The main political, governmental and Ministry of the Interior authorities in the municipality of Florida showed concern for the increasing presence of minors in night parties, related in many cases with the ingestion of alcoholic drinks and other activities harmful for their age.

Faced with the risk constituted by each of these phenomena, the first measure was a warning call to parents and tutors, who, according to the provisions of the Family Code, are ultimately responsible for ensuring the physical integrity, emotional well-being and quality of life of minor children in their custody.

However, in line with the state missions and assignments for the protection of children and youth, it was also announced the reinforcement of alert, confrontation and control actions through the Commission for Prevention and Social Attention, in conjunction with agencies and institutions such as community groups, social organizations, Commerce and Gastronomy and the authorities of Public Order, among others.

The participation of children in night activities, without the company of adults watching over their behavior, can lead them not only down the path of addictions, but also promote other behaviors harmful to their normal development and to the peace of mind of their own families.
