Florida, Jul. 22 – Florida Temporary Working Group called for the promotion of a popular movement of sanitation and cleaning of yards and green areas in the communities, under the leadership of the district delegates, with the support of local organizations, to face the threat of the Aedes aegypti mosquito in its last session this week.
The call was defined from the growth in the number of fever patients positive for dengue fever, the expansion of blocks with risk of presence and transmission of the disease in the main city of the municipality, together with the importance of multiplying the number of volunteer personnel in the neighborhoods.
The governing body of the operation of the main activities of the territory in the current stage also analyzed the issues related to the electric service in population settlements with interruptions of this type, the suspension of water pumping in the Caonao station due to breakage in one of its engines, and the management to distribute the liquid through pipes in the community of San Diego and other communities with the support of the Unidad Empresarial de Base de Otero.
Similarly, the Temporary Group took stock of the distribution of the basic family food basket in the current stage, demanded discipline in the collection of all the meat and milk contracted by the agricultural producers in Florida, and learned about the solution to the issue of the commercialization of dairy products to consumers in the area of La Playa.
During the past week, 44 control inspections were carried out in the municipality on the activities of retail trade in the state and private sectors, with the detection of 43 violations to the norms and the application of 16 fines and seven forced sales to those who repeat the violation of the laws.
