Florida, July 17 – The guidelines of the Party and the Revolution for the agricultural sphere demand the promotion of industry in the sector, diversify production, replace imports, and increase the supply to the domestic market and exports; likewise, they defend the increase in the participation of foreign direct investment as a primary source for the economic and social development of the country, and in the introduction of advanced technologies.
Fidel Acosta Echemendía, director of the Florida Agroindustrial Farming Company, offers details about the new mission of the entity, its relations with the productive base and the proposals to diversify services and economic lines, in the interview granted to journalist Pedro Pablo Sáez Herrera.
