Florida, May 29.- Contributing to strengthening the culture of rejection of the consumption of addictive substances is one of the essential objectives of the Day for Anti-Tobacco Education, which is being carried out by Florida’s educational sector until May 31, World No Tobacco Day.
One of the novelties of this day is that, in addition to warning about the unfavorable consequences of smoking, work is being done to ensure that girls, boys and adolescents become spokespersons for the prevention of smoking, help transform behaviors and avoid addiction in people close to them.
For the occasion, the My Smoke-Free Center Movement will be activated, through different communication platforms, to share good practices related to anti-smoking education; Preparation topics will also be taught in meetings with families and special morning sessions, talks and discussions will be held; and students will participate in drawing and poetry contests on the date.
A priority in this sector is the preparation of managers and teachers in the territory to provide them with methodological tools that guarantee compliance with educational actions to provide treatment for anti-smoking education.
