Florida Local Industries over-achieves its production plan

Florida, May 25 – The workers of the Unidad Empresarial de Base (UEB) Industrias Locales, of the municipality of Florida, exceeded 134 percent of their production plan at the end of April, higher results compared to the same period of the previous calendar year.

Daniel García Pérez, head of production of the entity, informed that the results are due to the preparation of liquid and solid soaps, the elaboration of chlorine and the manufacture of boxes for birthdays and other events, all of them with a good acceptance by the clients.

This group of 30 workers aspires to continue the productive chain with the Logistics Business Group of the Ministry of Agriculture (GELMA) in charge of the wholesale commercialization of inputs and with the Chlorine company of the municipality of Sagua la Grande.

It is important to highlight that the workers of the UEB Industrias Locales of the municipality of Florida contribute to food sovereignty by planting sweet potatoes, cassava, pumpkin and plantain in areas near the entity, which are used to improve the quality and variety of the menu offered to the members of the collective in the workers’ dining room.
