Number of traffic accidents in Florida decreases during the current year

Florida, May 24 – The number of traffic accidents decreased in Florida at the end of the first four months of this year 2024, although this does not mean that there are fewer risks in the road network of the municipality where, for years, there has been a demand for more citizen discipline and state control to guarantee order on the road to avoid fatal consequences.

According to information from the Safety Department of the Municipal Administration Council, at the end of April 2024, a total of 12 traffic accidents were reported in the locality, six less than in the same period of the previous year, which also translates into a lower number of injuries and material damages.

However, multiple risks persist in the streets of the city and in the stretch of the central highway that crosses the municipal capital of Florida, where more and more violations of traffic laws, non-compliance with most of the safety regulations for driving vehicles and mopeds, in addition to the poor condition of the roads, are being observed.

Even with more favorable results at the end of the first four months of the year, it is necessary to be systematic and rigorous in the state inspection activity in view of the priority of making order prevail in road circulation and the need to counteract traffic violations, in order to guarantee the protection and safety of the majority of road users in this municipality.
