Che Guevara Floridian cooperative overcompletes current rice collection campaign

Florida, May 23 – The Cooperativa de Créditos y Servicios (CCS) Ernesto Che Guevara, of the municipality of Florida, commercialized to date more than 110 tons of wet rice through the Empresa Provincial de Granos Ruta Invasora, as part of the current harvesting campaign of the cereal.

According to the information offered by Arquímedes Díaz Igarza, president of the CCS, the sowers of the entity maintain the commitment to exceed 170 tons in the cold harvest, an essential mission in the midst of the growing demand of this food by the institutions and the families of Florida.

Díaz Igarza took the opportunity to recognize the effort made and congratulate the rice producers affiliated or chained to his entity, who support, with will and creative resistance, the productive plans of the current calendar.

It is also worth mentioning the response of the farmers’ collective of the CCS Ernesto Ché Guevara to the convocations for the sale of rice to the population in the fairs and in the work centers, with more than 370 quintals marketed at prices lower than those established by the subway, abusive and speculative market.
