Florida, May 4 – The beekeepers of the municipality of Florida greeted the date of May 1st with the overfulfillment of most of the collection plans of the productions corresponding to the month of April.
The collection of honey, wax and propolis by the beekeepers of the territory materialized above the expected figure, with the aim of also greeting the next anniversary of the First Agrarian Reform Law and the Day of the Cuban Peasant.
As a result of April’s effort, bee breeders affiliated to Florida’s peasant sector improved their productive accumulated for the year, and only in the case of propolis they did not achieve the proposed goal.
According to the information offered by Miroslava Pacheco Martínez, official of Foreign Trade in the Government of the municipality, the convincing step of the local beekeepers is the best greeting for the provincial act in commemoration of May 17, which will take place here next May 7.
