Florida, Apr 29.- The city of Florida hosted the fourth Employment and Studies Fair held this year in the territory, with the presence of entities and organizations interested in offering vacancies for people interested in earning a decent living and contributing to collective development.
Representatives of the Ignacio Agramonte Agroindustrial Sugar Company, the National Institute of Sports, Physical Education and Recreation, the Basic Electric Organization, the Municipal Hospital, the Federation of Cuban Women, the Directorate of Public Health and the departments of Employment and Projects of the Non-State Sector in the Labor Organ are included among the socioeconomic actors who attended the event with various proposals for employment.
Ivet Ramírez Martín, Deputy Director of Employment in Florida, informed that to date more than 40 citizens have opted to join different job positions and professional training courses through the employment fairs.
She also pointed out that, so far in 2024, and in general, more than a thousand people have joined different occupations, both state and private, through the management of the Labor and Social Security office or through other existing channels for this purpose.
