Florida closes the schedule of farmers’ assemblies scheduled for April (+Photo)

Florida, April 24 – The associates of the Cooperativa de Créditos y Servicios Leopoldo Rey Sampayo, of the municipality of Florida, were in charge of closing the schedule of assemblies for the month of April in the Process of Strengthening, Renewal and/or Ratification of Mandates of the Directive Board in the rural area of the territory.

Gathered at its headquarters in the town of Otero, the producers and family members of the entity exercised their right to vote and freely, directly and secretly elected the seven members of its executive board, headed once again by the reelected president Edisbel Veloso.

The conclusions of the meeting were in charge of Leosdany Moredo, member of the municipal bureau of the Communist Party in Florida, who acknowledged the massive participation of the farmers in the 27 assemblies held so far in the Process of Strengthening the Directive Board, and called on them to continue giving answers, from the furrow and the cowsheds, to the different missions of the organization and to the food needs of the people.

In all the exchanges of this type carried out in the territory, the municipal leadership of the ANAP called on its members to support the activities related to the next world proletariat’s festive day and to maintain the leadership in the emulation for the headquarters of the provincial central act in salute to May 17, Day of the Cuban farmers.
