Floridian researchers to participate in Provincial Sports Science and Technology Forum (+Post)

Florida, April 19 – Four researches awarded with the category of relevant in the most recent event of the Forum of Science and Technique of the Sports Sector in Florida were selected to represent the territory in the next scientific exchange of the branch in the province of Camagüey.

Another recognized scientific work that stands out for its application and contribution to the athletic training program is the study by Master of Science Arnaldo Prieto Agüero on the correlation between dermatoglyphs and somatotype for physical tests to athletes in Florida, a method that allows to better identify the most talented athletes and measure more accurately their potential for high performance.

In the area of sports activities, the municipality of Florida will also be represented at the next Provincial Forum of the National Institute of Sports, Physical Education and Recreation (INDER) by the research of Florencio Abreu Infante, a master of science on contemporary trends to promote the practice of archery with a sustainable approach.

A research experience of the territory related to the actions of the family of physical culture and sports to motivate hypertensive patients to practice physical exercises will also be presented at the provincial level.

At the most recent INDER Municipal Forum of Science and Technology in Florida, the study by baseball professors Carlos Rodríguez and Edelio Casañas, who proposed the use of a rotating flip-flop as a teaching tool to improve the batting skills of athletes in the pioneer category, won a relevant award. This paper, together with those already mentioned, will compete in the provincial event.
