Workers in the Fishing Industry in Florida celebrate their day today

Florida, April 8.- The workers of the Aquaculture Fisheries in the municipality of Florida developed a day of activities in greeting to April 8, Fishing Industry Worker’s Day, as reported by Alexy Almanza Cervantes, director of the unit.

The execution of a bastion in the Caonao dam, with the support of brigades from the municipalities of Sibanicú and Vertientes, to collect the largest amount of fish from that reservoir, in addition to complying with the national export plan, are actions developed by Floridian fishermen on these days.

The cleaning and beautification of the premises and the material encouragement of its more than 100 workers of the entity, is also part of the activities carried out by the management of the center to greet the anniversary that commemorates the new anniversary of the constitution of the National Union of Workers in the Fishing Industry.

This April 8, Florida aquaculture workers celebrate their day, committed to producing more food for the people and achieving productive linkages with other companies and economic actors in the territory.
