Florida, April 4.- The central activities to celebrate in Florida the birthdays of the José Martí Pioneer Organization (OPJM) and the Union of Young Communists (UJC) began this Wednesday, April 3, with the cultural gala at which from 10 at night animated the city boulevard; where art instructors, members of the Abriendo Brecha Project, of the Hermanos Saíz Association, and amateur and professional artists from the territory showed their talent.
For the morning of April 4, a bicycle ride is planned, starting at the headquarters of the Municipal Committee of the UJC and finishing at the Rolando Valdivia Pre-University Institute, where the Sports Cup of the Federation of Teaching Students will close. Media, event and awards will be given to the winning schools and athletes.
In José Martí Park, a youth plaza will be held throughout the day with various cultural and recreational activities organized by professionals from the culture and sports sectors; including the presentation of the multi-award-winning casino wheel directed by cultural promoter José Antonio Reyes (El Negrón).
The celebrations for the 63rd birthday of the OPJM and the 62nd of the UJC in Florida transcend the founding date and will extend throughout the month of April, and for Sunday the 7th, a change of work is planned that will feature youth militancy and workers in the sector. of Culture.
