Recycle My Neighborhood Project, a contribution to the local economy

Florida, April 1 – The participation of the cederistas in the Project Reciclo Mi Barrio (Recycle My Neighborhood) is contributing to the collective of the Unidad Empresarial de Base Recuperación de Materias Primas (Raw Materials Recovery Business Unit) in Florida to comply with its recycling plan.

More than four and a half tons of raw materials were delivered during the course of the year by the neighbors from the neighborhood, as reported by Alfonso Peña Espinosa, director of the entity, who assured that 12 ranges of reusable products were collected, such as glass, aluminum and copper scrap, bronze, calamine, lead and platinum, among other materials.

The Recycle My Neighborhood Project is activated every weekend in the different People’s Councils of the territory, after coordination with the district delegates, in order to participate, the neighbors, in the activity.
