Florida, Mar. 30 – During a visit made to the municipality of Florida by the Superior Organization of Business Management of the Cuban Post Office, known as OSDE, the main issues affecting the provision of good quality services in that unit were evaluated.
During the functional control and the meeting with the workers, the shortage of bicycles for the letter carriers, which should arrive in the country soon, stood out, and a commitment was made to deliver them to the territories as soon as possible.
The completion of the workforce was another issue addressed and it was made clear that in order to increase salaries in the sector, more income is needed through the rental of transportation, leasing of premises and other alternatives.
The progress of the banking process was also evaluated and other issues such as the image and presence of the entity were taken into account.
At the end of the meeting it was reported that, with a figure of more than one million 300 thousand pesos, the Unidad Empresarial de Base Correos de Cuba in Florida, exceeded 118 percent of the income established for the month of February.
