Florida, February 22.- Third place in the National Contest of the Cuban Beekeeping Company (APICUBA) went to Anyelín Pérez Guzmán, a student at the Agustín Farabundo Martí Basic Secondary School in the municipality of Florida.
The student who is in ninth grade at that educational institution competed in Plastic Arts, one of the modalities of the event, with the creation of a pictorial work in which she reflects the moment of pollination and the industriousness of the bees.
Students from all educational levels in the territory participated in the contest organized by APICUBA to celebrate the 15th anniversary of its foundation, with the intention of highlighting the performance of beekeepers in the country, the diversification of honey production and its export, among other topics related to beekeeping.
