Florida, February 17.- The young Floridian tennis player Adrián Pérez Niebla is in the city of Busan, South Korea, as part of the Cuban men’s team that participates in the World Cup for teams of the discipline, to be held starting this Friday and until the 25th of this month.
This is the first world-class Table Tennis competition in which the young Floridian athlete participates, who as part of the Cuban men’s team will have to face in Group One of the tournament rivals from Hungary, Belgium, Croatia and the superpowerful China, champion current event in both sexes.
For Pérez Niebla, 21 years old, this World Cup is a highly valuable competitive opportunity, in order to add new experiences and knowledge to further polish his competitive performance and take greater steps in his current athletic training process.
Currently, the Floridian tennis player is integrated into the training system and competition activities of the Spanish Club Vila García, as part of a collaboration agreement between the Cuban Sports Institute and this Iberian institution.
