Florida, Jan 3.- Technicians from the Department of Environmental Health at the Florida Municipal Center for Hygiene, Epidemiology and Bacteriology inspected more than 100 containers of origin at the end of 2023, with the aim of controlling merchandise entering from other countries to the territory and prevent the spread of possible epidemics.
Attorney Odelkis Pola, deputy director of Environmental Health at that institution, reported that the majority of these containers belong to the Domestic Trade, Foreign Market (CIMEX), the Currency Collection Stores (TRD) and the managers of micro, small and medium-sized businesses. (MSMEs), and self-employed workers.
The directive reported that people who are dedicated to the commercialization of containers of origin must go to the Center of Hygiene, Epidemiology and Microbiology so that their merchandise is inspected, before putting it on sale, and certified by trained technicians.
