Florida, Feb. 1 – The ONDI field, traditional scenario of this competition, hosted the inaugural ceremony of the 43rd edition of the Roberto Rodríguez in memoriam Soccer Cup, an event in which teams representing the districts and neighborhoods of the municipality of Florida compete.
According to the organizing committee, in the first phase of the competition, the seven teams will play against each other in search of four tickets for the next round, in which each qualified team may be reinforced with the addition of up to four athletes.
The title of the tournament will be disputed by the two best teams from among the four qualified teams and, as in previous editions of the event, will only be played on Saturday afternoons and always at the ONDI grounds.
The Roberto Rodríguez in memoriam Soccer Cup is the main competition for soccer lovers in Florida, and is a preparation stage for athletes who represent the municipality in provincial and national competitions.
