Florida boxer secures Bronze Medal in Playa Girón National Tournament

Florida, January 13.- Floridian boxer Damián Estrada Rosell won his first fight and secured the Bronze Medal in the 52 kilogram division in the Playa Girón National Boxing Tournament, which takes place until January 15 in the city of Sancti Spirits.

In his debut fight in this strong event of the sport of fists in Cuba, the young boxer beat Pedro Estrada from Ávila 5 to 0, a victory that gave him a pass to the semifinals and assured his presence on the awards podium of the division of the 52 kilos.

This partial result is very significant for the boxer Estrada Rosell because, in addition to contributing a medal to the cause of his Camagüey team in this boxing fight, it validates his condition and athletic potential at the national level in light of his objective of demonstrating that he can compete to the maximum. level within high sports performance, to which he returned only three months ago, as explained by Professor Amaury Campanioni, who was his base coach in the Florida municipality.

Damián Estrada Rosell will seek to reach the final of the 52 kilograms and improve the color of his medal this Saturday afternoon, when he plans to develop the semifinal poster of his division in the Playa Girón National Boxing Tournament, which takes place in the city of Sancti Spirits.
